Match Descriptions & Policies

High Power Rifle
Two classes: Service Rifle (any US service rifle – past or civilian version of present) and Match Rifle (any sites) and other rifles not recognized by the CMP. Match will consist of 10 rounds in 10 minutes Standing. 10 rounds in 60 seconds Sitting. 10 rounds in 70 seconds Prone. 20 rounds in 20 minutes prone at NRA reduced 200 yard targets. You may shoot in more than one class if there is an open target in a 2nd relay.

Vintage Matches (CMP Sanctioned)
M1 Garand, Springfield, Vintage & Modern Military Classes. Any single shot or bolt action military rifle from any country and modern military rifle. Course of fire; (30 rounds) 10 rounds in 10 minutes prone, 10 rounds in 80 seconds prone, 10 rounds in 10 minutes standing. Rules for various individual matches are too long and detailed to list here.

Action Shooting
Matches will be pistol, rifle and shotgun or a mixture of one or more firearms. Check the schedule for dates, time and firearm(s) and ammo needed. Registration ends 2 hours after start time. N50
There are 5 classes of rifles; Pellet Rifle, Sportsman Slug Rifle (Pellet), Sportsman 22 RF, Pro .177 and .22 Slug Rifle and Pro 22 Rimfire Rifle. Any .177 though 30 caliber Pellet rifles can participate in the Sportsman Slug Class and will be scored with Sportsman rules. Any .177 or .22 Sportsman Slug as well as Sportsman 22 Rimfire rifles can participate in the Pro Class and will be scored with Pro rules. Pro rifles cannot be used in the Sportsman Class. The N50 is offering Sportsman class and Pro class which will be shot using the same target; pellet, and 22 rimfire/slug. Sportsman is scored with the .350” diameter plug head and Pro is scored with the .224” plug head. Completed list of rules can be found at http://national50.org/. NRA Smallbore F-Class
F-Open and F-TR, Single loaded. NRA smallbore rifle rules shall govern. Registration opens at Noon, match starts at 1 PM. Course of fire, 2 targets at 50 Yds and 2 targets at 100 Yds. Match fees are $15.00. Match Director; Jeff OHare, 630-624-5399

IR 50/50 Benchrest
.22 Rimfire Rifle: 25 rounds at 50 yds (meters), one shot per bull in 30 minutes off sandbag style rests on concrete benches. 3-gun classes: Sporter 7.5# / 10.5# / 13.5#. Match fees; 5$ per target. Centerfire Benchrest
A match consists of 5 targets with 5 record bulls & a sighter bull off sandbag style rests on concrete benches. Two classes; Custom and Factory. Class descriptions are in the club rulebook. General Information
Our facility has 20 covered concrete benches for shooting up to 100 yards, 10 covered concrete benches for shooting up to 200 yards. A 25 yard Pistol range with various types of steel action pistol targets. We have a heated and AC clubhouse with a flush toilet and offer food and drink at benchrest matches.
